New! The MyMy Wig Cap

On the theme of coming up with new things, allow me to present...drumroll please.....
The MyMy Non-Adhesive lace front cap!

This cap can be worn without sewing or gluing on if you so choose.  No hair needs to be left out.  It affords a realistic hairline, and gives the appearance of the hair growing from your head.  Up close, from the front, the MyMy cap looks like it's glued on. In fact it's just sitting there, as pictured above!  I was trying out a few different caps that day, and this was simply put on.

Invisible Knots

Regular Lace cap WITHOUT Invisible Knots
I've had the opportunity to show some of you our new Invisible Knots cap style.  So far, everyone  LOVES them!

The pictures pretty much speak for themselves.  With the regular lace cap without the Invisible Knots, the knots are more visible.  Your wig will still look fabulous.

With the Invisible Knots, it gives a more "scalp-like" appearance, and the hairs seem to be growing right out your head.  Still fabulous, but more like fabulous plus

Lace Cap WITH Invisible Knots
Just something for you to keep in mind the next time you order a custom wig.  You can upgrade your cap style to Invisible Knots starting from $150.

You know I spend my time trying to come up with new stuff for my peeps ;-)   Gotta keep ahead of the game!

Here's to happy hair days......

Christina Aguilera: What WAS that on your head???

I'm sitting here shaking my head.  Still a bit speechless, which would explain why it's taken me almost two weeks to write this post.  By now we've all seen and heard Christina Anguilera singing the National Anthem at the Superbowl this past Sunday.  While most people might have been caught up in the fact that she completely messed up the lyrics, I was dumbstruck by that...wig thing she had on her head.

I really do not understand these celebrities, who have all the money in the world, and whose public image is, well, their bread and butter.  How can they be caught in public looking a hot mess?  And for goodness sakes, it was THE SUPERBOWL!

Not only did the offending wig look less than human (acrylic maybe?) it looked awfully Fu Manchu-ish; reminding me of those old Kung Fu movies of the 70's.  The thing looked dry as heck.  She's lucky a spark didn't ignite that plastic.

Christina, sweetie, while you may have several excuses as to how you managed to completely re-write the NATIONAL ANTHEM, there's no excuse for performing at such a huge even wearing something on your head that looks that horrid.

Christina, like Britney and Rihanna before you, I'm reaching out to you, girl.  Call me!  Miss MyMy wants to hook you up and have you looking right.  You got me???

Redken and Marc Jacobs Retro Ponytail for Louis Vuitton

To create this do, Guido, Redken's creative consultant, applied gel to damp hair to lend spring, and blow-dries it with a round brush. He then sets strands with hot rollers to plump up the ponytail with mega bounce. After pulling the hair back, he wraps a small section of the models hair around the tail's base to modernize the style. A few passes of serum to amp up the sheen and ensure any baby hairs are down for the count.

I'm really loving the look of this stylish high ponytail with a bit of curl on the ends.  Reminds me of a vintage barbie doll.

You or your stylist can replicate this look using Miss MyMy machine tied Malaysian, Fijian, or Mongolian hair.  Smooth some serum over the finished product for a sleek finish.
